The tour begins with a visit to the Pisac archaeological complex, strategically located high above the valley. Later, the tour continues to Ollantaytambo, an Inca gem that retains its original layout and boasts an imposing stone fortress. Along the way, the landscapes of the Urubamba River, farmland, and snow-capped mountains accompany the journey. Depending on the itinerary, you can also visit the circular terraces of Moray or the spectacular Maras Salt Mines, two stops that add a unique dimension to the experience.

Chinchero
Your adventure through the Sacred Valley of the Incas begins early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. The first stop will be in Chinchero, a charming Andean village where you’ll visit a traditional artisan center. Here, a local guide will offer an immersive experience, revealing ancestral weaving and dyeing methods preserved for generations.
From Chinchero, you’ll visit a group of Inca ruins that serve as an introduction to the architectural ingenuity of this ancient civilization. The route then continues to the impressive Maras Salt Mines, a series of salt pans cascading down a mountainside in terraces. Here, you’ll learn about the ancient technique of salt extraction through solar evaporation, still used by local communities.

Maras - Moray
The next stop is Moray, one of the most iconic sites in the Sacred Valley. These unique circular terraces, used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory, will allow you to understand how they experimented with microclimates and crops. The landscape here is as breathtaking as its history.
Continuing the tour, you’ll descend to the heart of the valley, Urubamba. Here you’ll enjoy a buffet lunch at a traditional restaurant, surrounded by the tranquility of the Andes and the river that gives the valley its name.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit Ollantaytambo, an archaeological gem that was once an important Inca political and military center. You’ll tour its impressive stone complex on a guided visit, and then have free time to explore its cobblestone streets, which retain their original Inca design.
Before returning to Cusco, we’ll take you to Pisac, at the other end of the valley. There, you’ll visit its archaeological complex, perched atop a hill with spectacular views of the surrounding area. The day concludes with a stop at Pisac’s traditional market, perfect for purchasing unique handicrafts and souvenirs.
Finally, you’ll return to Cusco around 6:00 pm, with memories of a day filled with culture, history, and unforgettable landscapes.
