Trekking to Humantay Lagoon

Very early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco for an approximately four-hour drive to Soraypampa, the starting point for the hike to Humantay Lagoon. En route, we will make a brief stop in Mollepata for a hearty breakfast. Upon arrival in Soraypampa, the guide will provide safety instructions before we begin a 1.5-hour hike, during which you can admire the majestic Andean landscapes and the imposing Salkantay mountain. Once at the lagoon, you will be amazed by the turquoise waters framed by snow-capped peaks and learn more about the Andean worldview and the spiritual significance of the site. After some time enjoying the lagoon, we will hike back to Soraypampa, a journey of about 45 minutes. There, our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Mollepata for lunch, and then we will return to Cusco to conclude this unforgettable experience.
